We aim to provide a clear and transparent cancellation and refund process for Puja Seva, Chadhava, Prasad and Shop orders.
Because some services involve religious rituals and some products may be prepared or dispatched specifically for an order, cancellation and refund eligibility can vary depending on the stage of the order.
A Puja Seva booking may be cancelled before the Puja has been initiated or performed, subject to applicable service conditions.
Once confirmed with the temple/priest, scheduled, initiated or completed, cancellation may no longer be possible.
If accepted, any eligible refund will be processed after applicable non-refundable charges, where clearly applicable.
A Chadhava request may be cancelled before the offering has been processed or performed.
Once completed or passed to the relevant temple/service provider for fulfilment, cancellation may not be possible.
Refund or cancellation status is generally linked to the underlying service. A performed service cannot ordinarily be cancelled simply because Prasad has not yet been delivered.
If Prasad is damaged, incorrectly delivered or otherwise affected during delivery, contact us promptly with photographs and order details.
Cancellation may be requested before dispatch. Once packed or handed to the delivery partner, cancellation may no longer be possible.
If accepted before dispatch, the eligible amount will be refunded through the applicable payment method.
Certain products may be eligible if the wrong product was delivered, damaged during delivery, missing, or materially different from what was ordered.
We may request order number, product and packaging photographs, description of the issue and other verification information.
Approved refunds will normally be initiated through the original payment method where technically possible. Timing may depend on the payment gateway, bank or financial institution.
Examples include an unavailable item, a product cancelled before dispatch, an unfulfilled service component, or an issue affecting only part of an order.
Refund or re-shipment depends on circumstances such as incorrect/incomplete address, incorrect contact information, repeated delivery failure, refusal or customer unavailability. Additional shipping charges may apply.
For eligible Puja Seva bookings, photographs or videos may be provided through WhatsApp or another designated communication method. Availability may depend on the temple, priest or service provider.
A technical issue in receiving a photo or video does not automatically mean the underlying Puja was not performed.
If a booking cannot be performed due to circumstances within our control, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative arrangement or appropriate refund.
For circumstances outside reasonable control—such as temple closure, natural events or government restrictions—we will communicate available options.
Puja, Chadhava and other spiritual services are performed according to religious traditions and are matters of faith. Sanatana Bihar does not guarantee specific spiritual, financial, health, relationship, astrological or personal outcomes.
A refund cannot be claimed solely because a devotee's personal expectation or desired outcome has not occurred.
Requests may be reviewed based on product/service type, order status, whether the service has been performed, dispatch status, product condition, reason and applicable consumer laws and regulations.
We aim to process eligible requests fairly and transparently.
Sanatana Bihar may update this policy to reflect changes in products, services, operational processes or applicable laws. The latest version will be published on this page and the “Last Updated” date indicates the most recent revision.
We understand that a Puja, Chadhava or Prasad order can have personal and spiritual significance.
Our aim is to make the cancellation and refund process clear, reasonable and transparent, while recognising that some religious services are performed specifically for an individual and cannot be reversed once completed.
